Second grade has enjoyed participating in fall activities both at home and around the school campus the last few weeks. The children brainstormed ideas about what they like about the autumn season and wrote original poems. To enhance our study of “common and proper nouns”, the children went on a noun hunt. The children were excited to share their findings! We also read the book, The Scarecrow’s Hat, and the children created their own scarecrow following directed drawing instructions! Great work 2nd grade!
