Fall is in the air! The leaves are changing colors and the weather is getting cooler. Children in preschool are learning about the season of autumn. As a craft, the children colored a brown tree and added the changing autumn colored leaves by mixing red, orange and yellow paint. They used a bundle of Q-tips to dab the colors of the leaves. The children made beautiful fall trees with the leaves falling and blowing in the wind.
The week continued talking about farms and what can found on a farm. The children read farm stories, sang Old Macdonald Had a Farm, and talked about the sounds these animals make. Then they made their own red barn with farm animals colored by the children.
