Happy Earth Day! Preschoolers at Cedar Hill Prep School learned about reduce, reuse and recycle. They also learned that we should take care of our earth every day, not just on Earth Day! The class read about different ways in which we can keep our earth clean. Planting flowers, turning the water off when brushing their teeth, and putting garbage in the trash are just a few ways the children are helping to keep the earth clean and happy. Their parents were asked to bring in “garbage”, as the children called it. Using these materials, we were able to recycle and reuse them to make something that resembled a train. The children were so proud of their creation when they were finished.
