CHP sixth grade students strapped themselves in for the ride of a lifetime. On April 8th, these young astronauts traveled to Buehler Space and Science Center for a Simulation Mission to Mars. Student astronauts navigated a space craft for landing on the Mars surface and built a satellite. They tested sample surface material for gases and mapped new areas with doppler-like activities. Students repaired air leaks to maintain a healthy environment to conduct the experiments in.
This is the true generation that will colonize other planets and moons. The future looks bright with these astronauts-in-training!
