Students who are part of Mrs. Callahan’s Sign Language elective have been signing the pledge at morning meeting each day. The entire middle school student body is learning to sign the pledge as well. The purpose of this elective is to increase awareness of American Sign Language with an acknowledgement and respect for deaf culture. The goal of ASL is to provide students with various opportunities to learn receptive and expressive signing skills. The students in last semesters elective signed a song for the holiday concert. They were very proud of their hard work! Cedar Hill Prep students are thoroughly enjoying this interactive and fun class!
