On October 2nd Cedar Hill Prep’s Kindergarten class visited their elderly friends at the Martin and Edith Stein Assisted Living Residence. The children engaged the residents into joining them to say the Pledge of Allegiance and then they sang along with the kindergarten students when singing patriotic songs.
The show continued with a performance of grandparent songs. At the end of the performance the children walked around to greet each elderly resident with genuine admiration and respect and shook the hands of these “grandparents” as they held conversations with them. Everyone was smiling and these moments were enjoyed by all!!!
