On October 3rd, both of Cedar Hill Prep’s Kindergarten classes and their teachers visited their elderly friends at the Martin and Edith Stein Assisted Living Residence. The children engaged the residents as they joined together to say the Pledge of Allegiance and then sang patriotic songs.
The show continued with a performance of three “grandparent” songs. At the end of the performance, the children walked around to greet each elderly resident with genuine admiration and respect. They shook hands with these “grandparents” as they held conversations with them. Everyone was smiling, and these moments were enjoyed by all!
