With autumn upon us and the excitement of Halloween just around the corner, in our cross curricular studies, the Kindergarten students enjoyed listening to a story called Scarecrow Magic. We talked about Scarecrows on a farm and what they are used for. We discussed the main idea of the story and how it is fun to dress up for Halloween. We know that this is a make-believe story because scarecrows don’t come alive in real life. Each child made a scarecrow puppet using fall colors and a mix of creative imagination.
