Dr. Seuss says, ” The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
On Friday, March 1st, in honor of Dr. Seuss, Kindergarten celebrated his birthday with Read Across America! As tradition has it, Fourth grade students became buddies with the Kindergarten children to read Dr. Seuss books. Middle school students came in and read a special story and then they did a craft with the children. Each child made a character in the story!!!
The kindergarten students wore special hats and celebrated throughout the day with fun filled Dr. Seuss learning activities!! We even had ice cream!!
Great job Kindergarten, Fourth Grade and Middle School Students!!
