CHP’s 14th annual Junior Olympics was amazing…despite the 85+ degree heat. Led by 8th grader Lilyanna Hopkins, the students marched out to the Olympic theme song, all decked out in their House colors. 8th grader, Fisayo Odukoya and 7th grader Vaishnavi Bhalla, sang a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem, which inspired the crowd’s excitement for the games to begin!
The students all put forth their very best as they competed in several different running events. There were also several community service fundraiser tables set up and lots of goodies for sale, all for great causes. We capped the day with a pizza lunch, our annual Awards Ceremony, and this year, an early start to our Memorial Day Weekend.
A fantastic time was had by all!
