Handmade bowls by Denise Galiano were glazed by CHP students from pottery club and the RAK club. These bowls will be donated at the event for Franklin Food Bank.
Empty Bowls is a grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level. Guests choose a bowl handmade by a local artist, fill it with soups donated by area restaurants, and keep the bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. In exchange for the meal and the bowl, guests make a donation to the Franklin Food Bank in the form of ticket purchases. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Franklin Food Bank.
