Grades 4 – 8 French class students learned about the winter carnival in Quebec. The top 3 foods the Carnival is known for is the Poutine (french fries topped with cheese and gravy), the maple syrup taffy, and Beavertails(fried dough topped with various toppings). Every year during the month of February, the Quebec Winter Carnival (Carnaval de Québec), commonly known in both English and French as Carnaval, is a pre-Lenten festival held in Quebec City, Canada.
