Mrs. Galiano’s Grade 6 Science Students have been preparing all week for their upcoming Mars Simulator trip at Buehler. They have explored a new planet, analyzed job qualifications, experienced how a shift in gravity changes their body measurements, and the students were programmers and robots.
Everyone had a great time while also learning how difficult it is to be precise and detailed with instructions. Even Principal Don Seeley took on the role of a robot to reset a table using the commands of his partner programmer. Students have one more day to prepare for lift off. Then it’s to Mars and back! Good luck to our young astronauts! Full speed ahead!
