Grade 5 traveled to Hot Sand in Asbury Park as part of their science curriculum. The students had the opportunity to experience the art of glassblowing. Each student was paired with an artisan and together they created works of art through glassblowing.
It was a beautiful day at the Jersey shore and the students were also able to spend some time on the beach, where it all begins, the sand and water. Mrs. Gupta and Mrs. Raju accompanied the groups and they too experienced glassblowing.
