During December, as the Cedar Hill Prep School 4th graders shared their various holiday traditions with one another, a common theme appeared among all the traditions discussed…COOKIES! And so… this served as the basis for the Grade 4 Holiday Celebration on December 19th…. a Cookie Decorating Party! The atmosphere was set…students dressed in snuggly pajamas…hot chocolate simmering in the urn…the table set with wonderfully decorative tableware and paper goods. Excitement ran high!!! An enticing work station was filled with bowls of rainbow and chocolate sprinkles, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and icings of various colors. Each student experienced the joy of decorating their own cookie…sipping yummy hot chocolate…and eating their creations. It was a wonderful way to usher in our Winter Break. A special thank you to our Grade 4 parents for their generous contributions to our holiday celebration!
The holiday party was a terrific prelude to the evening’s Winter Concert… where pajamas were changed for elves’ caps and dressier clothing as Grade 4 students joined their friends in Grades 2 and 3 for a fun-filled evening of seasonal songs. Happy New Year to all!
