Cedar Hill Prep School third grade welcomed the first mystery reader of a new school year. Mrs. Garofalo, Nico’s mom, read to us this Friday afternoon. She read Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun by Maria Dismondy. It is a heartwarming story about a young girl named Lucy who has the courage to do the right thing. This story teaches us to celebrate differences, be proud of who we are, and to remember we all have a heart with feelings on the inside.
The students loved the animated reading by Mrs. Garofalo. Thank you for reading virtually to our class. We look forward to having more parents join our third grade classroom.
