Grade 2
Second grade kicked off the month of November with our D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) reading program. The children take time to read books with family members and visitors that come join us in the classroom. This quiet reading time builds reading skills such as stamina and fluency. It is exciting to see how much the children look forward to the program and visitors each month!
Grade 3
On Thursday November 14th, 3rd graders participated in our second day of DEAR, Drop Everything And Read. The program encourages everyone to stop what they are doing and pick up a book! Parents joined us for lunch and silent reading. The students and parents look forward to this event every month! Great job everyone!
