Grade 1 Goals for 2021
Cedar Hill Prep School first graders returning from winter break enjoyed discussing their goals for 2021. They talked about how to write a goal to improve on behavior or study skills. Students then wrote their goal and colored their poster which is posted in the hallway. The students can look up and remind ourselves of their goal to be the best we can be at Cedar Hill Prep!
Grade 1 Learns about Martin Luther King, Jr.
Cedar Hill Prep School first graders were very busy investigating the life and influence of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They read stories and watched videos demonstrating how important it is to celebrate Dr. King’s life. The students discussed the steps to write a friendly letter and proceeded to write a letter to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, wishing him a wonderful birthday and highlighting how he has influenced us as first graders at CHP.
