First graders discussed how candidates are elected for president of United States. They were given a ballot to choose the candidate. When they made their choice, they folded up their ballot and placed it in the ballot box in the front of the school Them they colored an I’ve voted button and wore them on their shirts all day.
During the day, first graders also discussed which cookie they would like the best: Oreo or chocolate chip. Grade 1A students chose chocolate chip,. And Grade 1B students chose Oreo. After our choices we interpret the data by filling in grabs and answering questions.
