First Graders celebrated friendship by working together in a STEM activity. Teams built silver foil boats and then loaded them up with sweetheart candies. We asked,”How many can each boat hold before sinking? “ and then connected to our math lesson by graphing the results. Students had a great time testing out their engineering skills. Of course, we ended our day sharing cards and goodies.
