First Graders had a blast searching for Easter eggs and showing off their reading skills. In what one first grader described as an Easter Egg Spelling Bee, students had to find eggs that were filled with words.
After finding an egg, the students ran to Mrs. Parker or Mrs. Parab and read the word. A prize was earned if the student correctly reading the word, or used their best decoding skills to attempt to read a more difficult word.
Everyone had a great time and learned some challenging words!
