Dr. Seuss’s Birthday is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2 — Dr. Seuss’s birthday. First Grade celebrated their March D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) by reading Dr. Seuss books. Students wore ‘cat in the hat’ hats as they read his thoroughly entertaining books and participated in ‘Read Across America’. A lot of their parents joined these First Graders in honoring Dr. Seuss who is known for using fun rhymes, silly words, and colorful characters in his books. We love reading Dr. Seuss books!
