I am very excited to begin my teaching career at Cedar Hill Prep for the 2023 – 2024 school year. I recently graduated from Stockton University located in Galloway, New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-6), and a minor in Holocaust and Genocide Studies and Jewish Studies. During my time at Stockton University, I had the opportunity to observe two different second-grade classrooms and completed my student teaching in a third-grade classroom. During this time, I was able to bond with my students on an academic and personal level. After I graduated, I became a building substitute at Randolphville Elementary School (K-3) located in Piscataway; I gained significant experience with students in grades 1 and 2 at this school.

I am passionate about educating a diverse group of students in establishing a productive and welcoming learning environment that promotes academic potential and cultural awareness. I have dedicated my career to teaching because teaching is different every day. The students’ minds are further developed and susceptible to new ideas that spark conversations, leading to new discoveries. This allows me to facilitate creatively and unlock student potential. Beyond the standard curriculum, I teach my students valuable skills of empathy and understanding. I structure lesson plans based on the student’s potential. This includes the integration of technology and a hands-on approach.
