Third grade had a decorate your ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ contest. The students chose from one of the patterns and worked like fashion designers to come up with their own version of ugly Christmas sweaters! They enjoyed working on this activity.
A team of judges voted on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. They are: 1st place winner – Samaira Doshi – Cherokee Bears, 2nd place winners – tie between Aaron Garg – Cherokee Bears, Reyaan Aman – Lenape Owls and Zia Shariff – Ramapo Falcons, 3rd place winners – tie between Chrystal Robinson – Shawnee Beavers, Pragnya Banagallapati – Cherokee Bears, Colin Lande – Cherokee Bears and Vishnu Badhna – Ramapo Falcons.
The winners earned points for their houses, 1st place winners earned 20 points, 2nd place winners earned 15 points and 3rd place winners earned 10 points. Congratulations to all the participants for enthusiastically decorating the sweaters!
