Cedar Hill Prep School is participating in two debate leagues this year, the Garden State Debate League and Jersey Shore Debate League.
The first Jersey Shore Debate Meet took place on October 21st while the Garden State Debate League met on October 28th. The topics for the Debates were “School Uniforms Do More Good than Harm,” “Columbus Day should not be a Federal Holiday,” “Later School Start Times Do More Harm than Good,” and “Ending Net Neutrality is good for America.”
Cedar Hill Prep School won 1st place for the Total Win Percentage and Total Wins in the Jersey Shore Debate League. Vaishnavi Bhalla won the Top Speaker Award from Cedar Hill Prep School.
Cedar Hill Prep School won 1st place for Total Wins and won 2nd place for Total Win Percentage.
Fisayo Odukoya won the top speaker award from Cedar Hill Prep School.
The next debate meet will be on December 2nd for the Jersey Shore Debate league and December 9th for the Garden State Debate League.
