Grade 2 closed out December celebrating two birthdays for Aydin and Morayo. After blowing out the candles on a virtual cake, they and their moms shared special books with their classmates via Zoom. One book, Oh Say Can You Say Di-no-saur? from the Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library series, delighted all, especially those with a fondness for Dr. Seuss and dinosaurs! The other, There Is a Girl Headed to the White House, spotlighted the values and beliefs instilled upon Vice President-elect, Kamala Harris, as a young girl.
