Our Pre-Kindergarten class was honored to have our very own Petty Officer First Class Christine Smith visit us in our classroom in celebration of Veterans Day. Petty Officer First Class Smith joined the United States Navy Reserves in 2011. She was stationed in Washington DC and worked for 3 years at DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) as well as in Washington State in Naval Air Station Whidbey Island working for Wing 10 under MTOC (Mobile Tactical Operational Command). Mrs. Smith showed us the flag of the United States. She talked about how the flag is folded and why it is so important to us all.
We are privileged to have Mrs. Smith on our staff as our Admissions/Public Relations Coordinator. She is also the mom to Noah and Oliver. Thank you for your service Petty Officer First Class Christine Smith and all the men and women that have and continue to serve our country.
