The First Grade performed an amazing Book Review Presentation of seven stories which were chosen to celebrate Black History month. Our first grade students presented Americans who have made a difference in their life by showing determination and strength of character in order to meet their goals. Each one of these characters have faced tremendous challenges and each one was successful in overcoming difficult barriers. Our students recalled the beginning, middle, and end of each story. One student from each group placed a blue ribbon onto the display to show how much we admired these Americans.
