Our 7th Grade students are bringing their knowledge about
Percentages, Discounts, Mark-up, and Profit into the real world.
From Tuesday February 13 to Thursday February 15, during specific times in the day, they will be running a “Math Mart”, a marketplace of goods and services. There will be fresh waffles, freshly made smoothies, hot chocolate, freshly assembled tacos, cupcakes, lemonade, hair and nail services, locker cleaning & decorating services, home-made keychains, and on-site sketch artists.
Each group will offer special Valentine’s Day discounts, and a portion of their proceeds will go to Charity.
Teachers will be taking the students in as a class. If you would like your child to purchase any of these goods, please send money with your child.
