On Wednesday, December 13, Dr. Randal Pinkett, was a guest speaker in Mrs. Whalen’s 5th grade Language Arts class. Dr. Pinkett, an entrepreneur, speaker, author, and community servant shared his experiences as an author and entrepreneur with the students. He began with asking the students three questions, and from that moment the students were hooked. As a published author his insight into the world of where writing begins and how books are published was informative and inspiring. Dr. Pinkett’s daughter is currently a 5th grade student at Cedar Hill Prep. We are so fortunate to have been able to share the morning with Dr. Pinkett.
