Elizabeth Mabrey

Elizabeth Mabrey is founder of the unique “Storming Robots” Robotics Technology Learning Center, which is the only Authorized LEGO Mindstorms Center in New Jersey. She has over 14 years of system level software engineering experience in the highly competitive software development industry. She received her M.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University.

With her technical experiences and being a parent of three self-motivated academic achievers, she strongly believes in the importance of nurturing children’s creativity, enforcing academic and personal disciplines, and strengthening their critical thinking, teamwork, communication and leadership skills. Most importantly, she believes children need to appreciate being lifetime learners.

She believes a robotics curriculum is a great tool to help our children to meet the unpredictable challenges in the future market by focusing on the development of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as the core foundation for our children’s academic and intellectual development.

Ms. Mabrey also has coached/mentored teams representing Storming Robots to participate in the Robotics State Tournament from ages 8 to 14 since 2005. She will continue to coach teams to participate in various robotics contests in the future.
